Thyroid conditions associated with pregnancy complications

Researchers looked at data from more than 223,000 pregnancies and found that women with thyroid disorders were at increased risk of serious adverse pregnancy outcomes such as premature delivery, gestational diabetes and preeclampsia. The findings were reported in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.
