Conn. students to wrap school year with clothing, shoe charity drive

Student council members from Illing Middle School in Connecticut are urging their schoolmates to donate clothing and shoes during an end-of-the-school-year drive for charity. The students plan to donate the items to the national Community Recycling Kids program, which distributes the items to people worldwide. "We're trying to help other people that maybe can't afford some of the basic necessities that we take for granted every day," said Kyle Maloney, an eighth-grade student.
