Report: Microsoft may enter hand-held game market

There are plenty of reasons for Microsoft to enter the handheld gaming market, including profits from software sales and a need to compete with Sony and Nintendo, according to a report from The Diffusion Group. However, a decision to enter the market would require a hefty investment and the development of an entirely new gaming platform, analysts say.
