Officials: Science experiments make lessons come alive for students

The key to making science lessons fun, interesting and relevant may be classroom experiments, according to British education officials who hope to increase student interest in science. "Science is about asking good questions. When I [learned] science I thought that it was tedious. When I did science I thought it was great," said Kathy Sykes, co-director of a science festival.
