Teachers to perform at NYC's Apollo Theater

New York City's Apollo Theater is hosting its first Teachers' Night, with acts comprised solely of teachers. The event, to be held Wednesday, will feature comedians, poets, musicians and other performers. "For me it's important to establish for my students that I can actually do this thing that they're sitting in my classroom about to learn," one teacher said.
