Atlanta-based medical device center receives $3.6M grant

The U.S. Economic Development Administration and the Georgia Research Alliance awarded the Global Center for Medical Innovation in Atlanta with a $3.6 million health grant will be used to establish a prototyping facility and support programs that commercialize medical devices developed by various organizations including universities and hospitals.
