Check-in users rate high for other mobile activities

About 18% of mobile phone users are using check-in services, and the users are disproportionately female students under 35, according to a comScore survey. The survey also found that check-in users typically rank high for other smartphone activities, raising the amount of time they spend on their devices, thus increasing the likelihood they will retain marketing messages.
