Pa.'s competitive energy-pricing policy gives consumers more options

Pennsylvania's competitive electricity-pricing policy allows ratepayers to buy renewable power at prices that are sometimes below the standard costs offered by utility Peco Energy, analysts said. "It's no longer a sacrifice to buy renewable power. It makes economic sense as well," said Courtney Lane, an energy-policy analyst with Citizens for Pennsylvania's Future.
