School employees step into Virgin HealthMiles wellness plan

Maryland's Howard County Public Schools employees now can join the Virgin HealthMiles wellness program that uses accelerometers to track how many steps they take each day. The program offers each employee the chance to earn up to $500 in incentives, a tactic many other companies and even schools are using to entice staff and students to exercise and adopt healthy lifestyles.
