Broadcast networks' upfront sales could be down by 5%

The broadcast network upfront could fall by up to 5% from last year's estimated $9.55 billion, media buyers predict. CBS is expected to lead the upfront, with a possible jump of 11% to $2.93 billion, according to Barclays. Meanwhile, ABC and Fox have finalized some deals, with the latter said to be seeking 8% CPM increases.
