Nordic diet reduces harmful inflammation, study says

A plant-based Nordic diet that emphasized fruits and vegetables and restricted meat and sugary foods and drinks reduced harmful cholesterol, inflammation and fat particles in the blood, researchers from Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland reported in the Journal of Internal Medicine. Researchers said the next step is to see whether the diet can be used for weight control.
