Singapore scientists develop graphene-based image sensor

Scientists at Singapore's Nanyang Technological University have developed an image sensor with graphene, the carbon material that is proving to be more versatile than silicon. They say the graphene-based image sensor is 1,000 times more sensitive to light than complementary metal-oxide semiconductor or charge-coupled device image sensors, while using less power.
