McDonald's ad celebrates relationship with black community

An animated spot from Burrell Communications/Chicago for McDonald's called "Baobab" uses images of Africa and of urban America to showcase the restaurant chain's relationship to the black community in the U.S. Chicago Sun-Times advertising columnist Lewis Lazare admires the sentiment, but questions the creative decision to have the animated characters appear faceless in the spot.
