Motorola, Rand McNally to offer mapping service

Motorola and Rand McNally have forged a deal to integrate Moto's VIAMOTO GPS service with the mapmaker's software. The companies plan to make a set of navigation products available for download via wireless networks. They plan to market the technology as a "convenient and affordable alternative to expensive car navigation systems."
