Fed: First-quarter sluggishness is short-term

Federal Reserve Board Governor Randall Kroszner said economic movement was slow in the first quarter but that it wouldn't last. "Activity was held down in the first quarter, in part, by several factors that seem likely to prove transitory," Kroszner said in a speech prepared for the Institute of International Finance in Athens, Greece.
