Popular Louisiana technology camp gives kids an edge

Some Louisiana middle schoolers are becoming experienced with the latest technology thanks to an increasingly popular school camp that features laptops and handhelds, global positioning system units and more, said Colleen Charles, St. Charles Parish schools technology curriculum specialist. "Our district puts the money and the technology into students' hands," Charles said. "That's what this camp is all about."
