CCHIT testing standards for EMR platforms unveiled

The Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology has released on its Web site a document detailing standards that will be used to determine qualified electronic records for inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as added features for ambulatory EMR systems. The Concise Guide to CCHIT Criteria for 2009-10 specifies changes made in accordance with the stimulus law, the group said.
