Commentary: Europe must learn from others' mistakes, successes

Summer is bringing a bit of relief in Europe from the financial crisis, but the positive signs should not lull policymakers and other market participants into complacency, according to this commentary by a group of writers from the French Council of Economic Analysis and the German Council of Economic Experts. Instead, officials must look at previous crises and efforts during this turmoil and learn from them. For example, the writers say, while the US stress tests were imperfect, they were effective.
