Showtime makes Amazon's Kindle part of the marketing mix

Showtime has become the first TV network to use Amazon's Kindle e-reader as an advertising platform, according to this report. Beginning today, the script for the premiere episode of Showtime's "Nurse Jackie," which will star Edie Falco, will be available for free download on the electronic reading device, while ads for the show will appear on Amazon.com and the Kindle online storefront.
