Texas storm-flood risk will rise with climate change

Corpus Christi, Texas, faces an increasing chance of flooding over the next 20 to 70 years because of global climate change, according to a new study by Texas A&M University. The danger is twofold, researchers say -- higher sea levels will erode natural flood barriers, while warmer waters will give rise to more major hurricanes.
