UN calls on members to enforce sanctions against North Korea

A UN resolution drafted in response to North Korea's nuclear test last week calls on all 192 UN member states to recognize and enforce the pre-existing sanctions against North Korea. The sanctions have been ignored or sporadically implemented since they were originally imposed in 2006. An arms embargo is one of the restrictions detailed by the sanctions.
