Asustek readies its own tablet PC for Q1 2011 debut

Asustek Computer has introduced its version of the tablet computer: the Eee Pad, a machine that will run Microsoft's Windows 7 operating system and be powered by Intel's Core processor. The Eee Pad, which is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2011, also will benefit from the development of Asustek's first applications store.
