Brands add sales pages to their social outposts

A growing body of marketers are adding e-tail pages to their brands' Facebook and MySpace pages in a bid to turn buzz into direct sales. Still, experts note the strategy is only likely to work for brands that already have a substantial social following. "Nobody likes to shop at places where no one else shops," says one marketing professor.
