Need fresh ideas, scientific research and enthusiastic workers? Universities are a great place to find all three, usually at little or no cost, writes Ann Meyer, who cites the case of Dobra Bielinski, owner of Delightful Pastries in the Chicago area who expanded into two new locations based on market research by students at DePaul University. "Not in a million years would I have had time" to do that kind of research, Bielinski says.
