Cybersecurity leader gets a new role as a strategy adviser

The White House is tapping a former Senate intelligence and cybersecurity expert to serve as a top adviser to cybersecurity coordinator Howard Schmidt. Sameer Bhalotra, the new senior director in the office of the cybersecurity coordinator, contributed to the Center for Strategic and International Studies' report "Securing Cyberspace for the 44th Presidency" and will most likely focus on strategy.
