Fed officials indicate rate increase might be delayed

Charles Evans, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, said the central bank might postpone an increase in interest rates because of the sovereign-debt crisis in Europe. Separately, Charles Plosser, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, said "how the crisis in Europe ends up affecting the economy will dictate how we will respond."
