Florida area reports canine parvovirus outbreak

Officials in Palm Beach County, Fla., in recent weeks have seen an outbreak of canine parvovirus, which experts say is often fatal to dogs and is usually transmitted in public areas where canines interact, such as the park. Officials advise pet owners to have their dogs vaccinated against the virus to prevent disease spread.
