Navajo Nation approves construction of 5 N.M. casinos

The Navajo Nation approved $300 million for construction of new casinos on the country's largest Indian reservation in New Mexico. The five casinos could generate up to 2,000 permanent jobs, as well as thousands of temporary construction jobs. But some state lawmakers question the rapid expansion of gambling by the Navajo, citing the need for transparency.
