Neb. teen faces daily struggle with ulcerative colitis

Sixteen-year-old Lacie Ferguson of Hastings, Neb., has to watch every bite she eats because many of her favorite foods trigger ulcerative colitis symptoms. Even though she takes 12 pills in the morning and 10 at night to help relieve pain and keep her digestive system running, she still struggles every day with the bowel disease.
