Propane helps turn up the heat on bedbugs

Facing an "epidemic" of bedbugs, officials in Indiana's Monroe County plan to buy a propane-powered convection heater capable of pumping hot air into buildings and holding the temperature at 150 degrees for several hours. That should be enough to bake bedbugs and put an end to infestations, officials say. "It's turning your house into an oven," notes one bedbug expert.
