Special-education credentials keep some Calif. teachers working

The California Teacher Corps is recruiting teachers who have been laid off from general-education positions to become special educators. "I'm actually surprised how much I like it," said one teacher now working with students with special needs. "I love the individualization and resources to help each kid."
