Study: Soy helps to reduce fat in postmenopausal women

A U.S. study found that postmenopausal women who drank soy-enriched shakes daily for three months were able to lose more abdominal fat compared with those who drank placebo shakes daily over the same period. The study also found that while white postmenopausal women lost more abdominal fat, black women lost more body fat overall.
