Tax extenders bill passes House, must wait for Senate vote

The House voted 215-204 on Friday in favor of the American Jobs and Closing Tax Loopholes Act, which would extend a large number of expired tax provisions and change the tax treatment of fund managers' carried interests. The Senate won't consider the bill until Monday, when it returns from its Memorial Day recess.
