Vitamin E may protect children from eczema, data show

Children who eat a diet high in vitamin E may have a 67% lower risk of eczema compared with those with the lowest intake, possibly because of the vitamin's antioxidant and immune-boosting effects, Japanese researchers reported. Their study also found that vitamin A does not appear to protect against allergies.
