Hawaii launches anti-sugary-drink campaign to curb obesity

Hawaii's State Department of Health has introduced a "Don't Drink Yourself Fat" campaign in an effort to address the state's rising obesity rate, which nearly doubled from 1995 to 2009. The campaign will emphasize the adverse effects of sugar-sweetened drinks and urge the public to refrain from consuming such beverages.
