Rural Texas districts receive grant to update technology

Fourteen rural school districts in the Waco, Texas, region will share a nearly $500,000 Rural Development grant. The money will be used to purchase videoconferencing equipment and buy interactive whiteboards and other technology to help improve connectivity and facilitate distance learning for 6,200 students and their teachers.
