Scientists find details of blood clotting at molecular level

U.S. researchers have discovered greater detail about the chemical interaction that enables blood clotting. "This is the first real insight at an atomic level of how most of the blood-clotting proteins interact with membranes, an interaction that's known to be essential to blood clotting," said lead researcher James Morrissey.
