Funding "glitch" may delay Minnesota highway projects

Some Minnesota highway projects may be put on hold until next year because the state's congressional delegation inadvertently spent more than $14 million in federal highway money. The delegation set aside $14.6 million in highway funds for special projects but did not realize that amount would be deducted from the yearly highway allocation.
