Obituary: Educator created award-winning TV show for teens

California high-school teacher Joseph N. Feinstein, 74, for nine years hosted and co-produced an award-winning TV talk show, "Teen Talk," for students to discuss difficult issues; he died of heart failure May 24. "He would look at you and listen to you and get what you were saying," said former student Jill Spector, a geriatrics social worker who tended to Feinstein in a skilled nursing facility. "So you wanted to talk to him ... because you knew you had somebody who was going to genuinely listen."
