Alabama voters reject propane amendment

Voters in Alabama have rejected a constitutional amendment that would have added a few cents onto customers' propane bills to fund a rebate program for energy-efficient propane equipment. With almost all precincts reporting, about 60% of voters rejected the measure, which had the support of the state propane-gas association.
