Coffee study looks at morning alertness

A study of 379 adults found that a morning cup of coffee simply brings people who regularly consume coffee to a baseline level of alertness. The study that coffee drinkers who had consumed their morning cup had the same level of alertness as non-coffee drinkers who had received a placebo.
