County office building in Pennsylvania to get a green roof

An office building in Pennsylvania's Allegheny County will get an eco-friendly roof that will be home to evergreens, succulents, perennials and annuals. The roof should help keep the building cooler, hold and clean storm water, and extend the life of the roof. The $621,000 project is being paid for with federal-stimulus funds.
