Interactive to drive spending growth for B2B marketing


Total B2B marketing and advertising spending will reach $129 billion this year, up just 0.8% from 2009, according to Outsell. Increased interactive spending is responsible for the growth, and the firm predicted that 2010 will mark the first year in which advertisers spend more on digital formats than on print. Interactive spending, including e-mail, video advertising, display ads and search marketing are expected to grow 9.2% in 2010 to $51.5 billion, compared with $41 billion forecast to go to print.
