Mo. hospital uses decontamination device to fight infections

St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis is using a hydrogen peroxide vapor decontamination device in patient rooms to protect patients from hospital-acquired infections. The device is effective against a variety of pathogens, such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Clostridium difficile and vancomcin-resistant enterococci.
