Prudential, Barker Pacific to invest $20 million in San Francisco office

Prudential Financial and Barker Pacific Group plan to invest about $20 million in a 43-story San Francisco office, which defaulted on a $107.6 million mezzanine loan. Prudential took control of the Citigroup Center after foreclosing on the loan and is now investing the equity to upgrade the building to bring up its occupancy rate.
