Report: Fences can pose threats to wildlife

Thousands of birds and big game animals die each year because of injuries caused by fences, according to a report from the Colorado Division of Wildlife. "For humans, fences make space into place. For wildlife, fences limit travel and access to critical habitat," the report author said.
