Study: Senate climate bill would be good for U.S. economy

A study by the Peterson Institute for International Economics shows that the Senate climate-and-energy bill would result in about 200,000 new jobs annually in the first decade of its implementation. The measure would also shrink the share of fossil fuels in total energy demand from 84% today to 70% by 2030, the study said.
