Unfit young adults are more likely to develop hypertension

A 20-year study of 4,618 men and women ages 18 to 30 found that those with low levels of physical activity and fitness were at a greater risk of developing hypertension compared with those who exercised regularly. The study suggests that about 34% of all hypertension cases could be prevented through increased physical activity.
