Program offers students increased learning of STEM

Supported by a $60,000 grant from the American Honda Foundation, the United Way of the Bluegrass and Madison County Schools in Kentucky collaborated to offer opportunities for students to learn science, technology, engineering and math. The STEM Infusion program will "increase awareness about STEM-related opportunities for middle-school children while encouraging students to enroll in advanced math, science and technology related courses," said David Kitchen, director of brand strategy for the United Way of the Bluegrass.
