CSX: $100M facility to provide shippers with intermodal benefits

Groundbreaking on a $100 million intermodal facility is scheduled to begin today in Quebec, Canada. It will provide shippers with the several advantages of intermodal rail, according to CSX. The 89-acre terminal "will enable shippers in the region to capitalize on the economic and environmental benefits of intermodal rail, expand on the north-south trade opportunities offered by NAFTA, and connect to new markets," CSX said.
